Back Pain and Sleeping on the Floor

It could have been:
Either way, this new back pain has led me back (lol) down a rabbit hole that I've poked around in before. It's the world of Natural Movement theory. Katy Bowman seems to be the most famous writer/teacher in the space. I bought her book Don't Just Sit There and I've also been browsing around her blog.
I found this article about sleeping postures pretty interesting: Instinctive sleeping and resting postures: an anthropological and zoological approach to treatment of low back and joint pain. Although my issue is actually upper back pain, but I like the picture of the man and the dog sleeping in the same position. I tried laying on my hardwood floor like that and it did feel pretty good.
It could have been:
- The car accident I was in back in July (I was sitting in the back seat of a car that was rear-ended)
- Hunching over my sewing table all weekend (I'm working on a new quilt!)
- Power washing my front porch (I was pretending I was Ripley from the Alien movies)
- Some other bad habit? Computer use?
