Challenge #3: Talk about a fannish opinion that's changed over time

I struggled with this prompt. Maybe I’m less flexible in my views than I thought!

I suppose one thing that’s changed is that as a teen I was always trying to be edgy for the sake of it, probably in order to fit in with other people I thought were cool? One of the best things about being a grownup is slowly realizing that you can just do your own thing - whatever it is that you enjoy - regardless of whether it’s cool. And that is actually much cooler than any poser shit I did when I was a kid!

So yeah, sorry that’s not actually an opinion. Rather, it’s just the concept of growing up.
