I LOVED the book as a child and I'm actually rereading it right now and it's still amazing.

Good to know, then I’d better avoid it :)

I also grew up reading Little House on the Prairie. A couple years ago, I read Prairie Fires by Caroline Fraser, which was an excellent biography on Laura's life and how the politics of the country at the time shaped her life and experiences. My only issue is that I thought the biography focused too much on her daughter.

I have an itch to reread at least one or two of the Little House books and if I do maybe I'll follow it up with that biography. Thanks for the recommendation!
