From what I can gather, the company that owns Tumblr has laid off so much of the staff at this point that it's a real fear that the site may literally just quit functioning? It's probably a bit of an overreaction, but people are making contingency plans and baking up their journals just in case.

Thanks, it's good to post again! I want to get back on track, especially with "Three Weeks for Dreamwidth" coming up very soon! We're having a slight warm-up this weekend and into next week so I'm feeling a little less dreary. :)
